But but but... Kiss knows ALL THREE CHORDS!!! Def not a KISS fan <...snip...> Nor I, but there are a lot worse out there. To me they sound a lot better if I don't look at them, but I'm not average by any stretch of the imagination. The theatrical makeup was a good move. They went from being just another bar band trying to break into the big time, to actually being in the big time. Elvis had his side burns, the Beatles had their haircuts, Alice Cooper came out cross-dressing, Madonna performed in underwear, and countless other artists/bands tried something that would make them stand out from the others. (I think it gets more and more difficult to do something radical that get one noticed.) A lot of other 3 chord bands have been making a lot of money, probably the most successful of all being the Rolling Stones. Insights and incites by Notes ♫
