Audiotrack's questions are good. The more that's known about your process, the easier it is for forum members to visualise and to try and replicate.


In the meantime, though, this might be worth checking out...

By default, BIAB will auto-substitute Realtracks that are outside a pre-defined tempo range. It sounds like this might be what's happening. To disable this...

1) Go to Realtrack preferences.

2) Uncheck "Allow Realtrack Substitution Based on Tempo". It's near the top of the right-hand column.


As a note for anyone reading this who has not come across it in the manual...

BIAB shows which Realtracks have been substituted. On the mixer, if the name begins with "~~", this indicates that BIAB has automatically replaced the Realtrack for one that better suits the song's tempo.

If, however, the name of the mixer begins with "~", this means that there is a Realtrack that's better suited to the song's tempo but it hasn't been automatically substituted.
