Wonder please if someone could check piano Realtracks 1904 and 1905? Both exhibit low frequency 'thumps', which are noticeable on the preview as well as rendered tracks. They occur in the same place each time. Thought first of all they might be pedal noise but seems too extreme for this.
Am using Ev 8, 90 BPM style, so should be exactly suited. However, it may be an oddity of my setup, so would be grateful if another user could check results with theirs.

Thanks. Get the feeling that effect is probably independent of style as it occurs on preview track, which I'd always assumed was pre-prepared and not related to a particular style.
However, tried it on three Ev8 90BPM styles chosen at random - '_Stray', '_Digress' and '_Rumins' - and effect present on all three.

i dont have the 3 styles you cited ..i guess add ons i dont have.
but i DO have bolero…with 1904/5 no thumps.
same in windows no thumps. ..standalone test in win.
hopefully someone with those 3 styles can also comment.

Thanks for this. Preview definitely shows effect, so very much looks like problem at my end. Will now check sound interface and card.

ok i delved further ...and i found i really had to crank it to get the thump..it might have been picked up by the mic when the original rt was laid down.
whats also weird is it seems to vary in degrees depending on key. and not all bars.
so maybe replace bad bar with a good bar with no anomoly. thats what ive done on a v rare occasion re rt's
i suggest you use a filter to get rid of the anomoly.

If you freeze all the tracks in a SGU file you can attach the SGU file to an email sent to support@pgmusic.com. Frozen tracks allow PG Music to recreate your song.
In the email describe what unwanted sounds you are hearing and where in the song file the unwanted sound is heard in each track. For example you may want to say something like piano track, RT 1904, bar 04, beat 03 has a background thump; guitar track, RT 1905, bar 12, beat 01 has background thump.
Many times PG Music will correct the problems and issue an updated file in a future update.
I hope you'll do this as it will benefit all users.
