Be sure to grab a coy of the critical files *before* the program has a chance to get corrupted.

You can store them anywhere but in the same folder with the program's .exe.

Next time you need to do the thing, just Copy and Paste the files right overtop of the old ones -- AFTER shutting down the program first. Then restart the program.
