Interesting VSTi Jim. It looks like one would need to have pretty good keyboard skills to get good use of it.
Sometimes I wonder what would require less effort, learning to play the Banjo or acquiring keyboard skills needed.
I find the same issues with drum programs. You need to be a drummer to know what to make the software do. There are a lot of pre-programmed drum lines but they never sound like a skilled live drummer.
It would be interesting to listen to a skilled Banjo player who also had good skills on the keyboard to program this software.
There is always the question of how real the sound is.

Interesting VSTi Jim. It looks like one would need to have pretty good keyboard skills to get good use of it. Not really! According to the manual it has a mode where you play chords and it automatically plays your choice of 16 patterns based on that chord. Also has a strummer mode. I'm going to buy it soon so I'll report back but so far it seems like a pretty cool addition to my virtual instrument library!

Indiginus stuff sounds great and fun to play. Solid State Orchestra is just a great-sounding way to have fun with your pants* on.

*Not required in the manual. Solid State Orchestra is my go to synth orchestra. Their lap steel is as real as it gets for a VSTi.

@Mario: SSO layered/multied with any another orchestra is just too much fun but if you haven't already, you might want check out Amadeus (it does occasionally go on sale). Playing the two together with Amadeus' adjustable APC (automatic patch change) feature on is just a great aleatoric fun. Mixing Virtuoso Ensembles and Amadeus yields a very realistic orchestra. Mixing all three also sounds great. YMMV

I'm buying Kontakt 7 BECAUSE of some of the Indiginus instruments.
My music genre of choice is classic (old) country music and from what I have heard on their site and on YouTube has made me believe that some of their library's are an absolute must have for me. Their prices are nothing to sneeze at as well.

/Bobby Yep, Indiginus instruments are fantastic but a little on the expensive side, however well worth the money. I have a few of their instruments. Unfortunately they never go on sale.
