Jed/Dave, as Bruce said, you have two tracks to work with. The reason for this is that the other tracks are regenerated each time you load a song or press Play. If you have version 2011, or at least 2010.5 I think, you can enter notation on any of the other tracks and Freeze the track so it does not get regenerated.

You mentioned guitar and bass - no problem. Drums, however, could be a challenge. How are your drums notated on your sheet music? BIAB does not use standard drum notation; it uses a piano-style notation like all the other instruments, where each pitch is a particular MIDI drum kit sound.
