Think about how drums are generally used as a metronome the rest of the band uses to keep time. The number one job of a drummer is to keep time. Every now and then a drummer will change it up by putting in a fill, cymbal crash or tom toms but that's about it. Typically drums are the backbeat of the song, not the feature.

Many RealDrums have variations so you can add variety by using the right click bar number menu to select a variation. You can also use F5 Bar Settings to select a different RealDrums style.
