Thanks, Jan! This is totally a "homegrown" project.

I constructed all the songs in Band-In-A-Box, using nothing but RealTrax and RealDrums (except for just a couple of midi string patches that BIAB produced). Even though I play keyboard, I don't even own a keyboard at the present time, so I was totally limited to what I could get out of BIAB.

Once the songs were constructed in BIAB, I saved each individual part as a WAV file. Then imported each wav file into Sonar Studio 8.5 (Cakewalk). (I really like RealBand, but I am more used to using Sonar, so that is what I used.) Then in Sonar, I recorded all the vocals. All the mixing and mastering was done in Sonar. I used T-Racks VST plugins (Tube-based EQ, Compressor, Multiband Limiter, and Clipper) for the mastering.

We were on a VERY limited budget, so I couldn't afford to pay someone to Master it for me. Just spent a lot of time, developing ear fatigue! I'm sure Rachel is really sick of hearing the songs!
