https://soundcloud.com/user-618393096/i-wonder-if-times-been-good-to-you

V1
The fragrance of the wild honeysuckle fills the air
It reminds me of the perfume that you used to wear
Dappled shadows of the leaves dancing in the grass
Graffiti carved into a tree, reminders of the past

Chorus
And I wonder, if time's been good to you
Did you find a way to make your dreams come true
Did you find a man, did you have a child
I know it's been a long, long while
But I wonder, if time's been good to you

V2
Putting miles behind me driving down this interstate
The radio's the only thing that's keeping me awake
News or sports, talk or country, there's one playing rock
The DJ puts in a song that's turning back the clock

Chorus

Refrain
Did you find a way to make all your dreams come true
It seems like every day there's something makes me think of you
I know it's been a long, long while
But girl you still can make me smile
And I wonder, if time's been good to you
Oh I wonder, if time's been good to you
I still wonder if time's been good to you...

Welcome aboard, Redeye!

A very identifiable topic of wondering what happened to our old loves.

Nicely put together band. I like that sound.

Catchy chorus.

I'll also offer a welcome to our corner of the vast WWW where all things music are shared.

Nice job indeed in all aspects. You have a Neil Young vibe.

One very small nit at the very end.
If "I still wonder if time's been good to you..." was spoken rather than sung it might add a bit more heart-felt emotion.

Nice job.

For me there’s no better place in the band than to have one leg in the harmony world and the other in the percussive. Thank you Paul Tutmarc and Leo Fender.

Hey Redeye ...

Really nice to hear another one from you. This is the second of your songs I've listened to.

This is a really great song! And your voice is the perfect icing on the cake. You have a true, heart-felt voice that is easy to listen to. It also is convincing to the lyric. I loved everything about this song. That was a sincerely true pleasure to listen to.

I was going to listen & comment but you've not responded to any of the commentary of your initial post, let alone on the work of others, and I've begun to wonder if you're one of "those".

Cheers

Hi Redeye,

Another wonderful country song I'm listening to today.
You have very good vocals and the lyrics are interesting. Good angle in them.
I only wonder if you could change the pitch a bit from the harmony singer
To my ears it sounded (kinda) like you were hoarse on some occasions.
But anyway, I enjoyed it a lot!

Welcome to the community.

This is a good old style country tune. I especially like the chorus. Reminds me a bit of John Denver which is a good thing.
