Oliver resides in Farmville, VA with his 3 dogs and a plot of land he plans on turning into a small farm to raise livestock. We have a whole mess of songs set to release of Oliver for your viewing and listening pleasure, he is truly special and notes his biggest influence as Hank Williams Jr. Oliver wants to give hope to the working class and your average hard working young man who may have lost hope in the grind of trying to get by. The narrative script is utter rubbish. This bull about "woke" is a joke. Small Town is a joke too..all bile & not much of a song. The premise of the two videos...that had he been signed the song wouldn't have been released is silly...had tyhey not heard the song that wouldn't want to sign the man. Railing against the wealthy & corporations is nothing new, isn't bad either. There're plenty of critics of the establishment who have record deals with big & small labels. At least Woody tried to offer solutions. I like the recording, I can understand and empathise with most of the narrative as well. There's no reference to "woke" in the song just another right wing ding bats grabbing the song and the backstory to make a conservative point aimed at oppressing difference, keeping wages down, using unemployment as a leverage for low wages etc. The real gripe, as outlined in the song, is that a working person can't make a living while those with power & wealth squeeze even more of of them.. It is, after all, the conservatives who have the money and the power. I'm tired of the bull sprouted by the right and readily absorbed by many, many working folk. Same as it was when the Irish came to the goldfields, the Chinese came to the gold fields, the Italians, the Germans, the Eastern Europeans. Divide the working folk, turn them against the latest group of immigrants and distract them from the wiles of the wealthy. Same as it has been since newspapers, radio and TV...ie: mass communication has been carrying the message of its owners.

I didn't over think it, all I got was the wonderful heart and spirit of it all that resonated with me personally not just because of the resonator guitar, I'm sure that's why it resonates with millions and millions of others that have been through or going through deep emotional issues and suicide. It comes from a realm beyond politics.
I've been sellin' my soul... sorry not anymore, not even for 8 million.
That's I was reacting to the additional vid that attempts to recruit the song for Trumpist, right wing, antiwokeness. The song is about the human condition for the last couple of hundred years or so.

I watch those videos again to try and see what you mean, the first was reading his post, the next was John Rich saying about the big labels trying to get him, maybe John Rich has been caught up in it all and is speaking out. I did not here about Trumpist or right wing. I did hear Kim Clement say about Trump back in 2007 that was long before things even happened over in the US. I remember I walk passed a TV set back in 2016 and the news was saying there was an election in the US and that the Clinton is set to win because they are way ahead in the polls, I said no that guy will win and just kept walking without a thought. The next time I saw the news saying that Trump conspired with Russia and I said that is BS and kept walking on pass the TV. This is just the bleeding obvious thing to me now, sure when these things first happen you think wow I saw that and it happened, you knew who was on the phone before they even ring, you dream about something and it happens the next day. I told someone who was going to win the Melbourne Cup, one of them bet and won and the other didn't bet as they didn't believe it. I have heard so many other things that have come to pass that were heard long before they happened. This is a normal thing for those that have been through life threatening situations being dead or close to it and going through much suffering, your soul opens up to it all. The wokeness they talk about comes through academia, it's the blind leading the blind with these ideas. I heard about the fall of that beer company due to wokeness long before I knew the name was a beer company, I thought it was an earth moving company Any tiny babies that come out of university with these injected woke ideas in them soon wake up when they are told they have terminal cancer and nothing can be done to help them, it's only then after going through years of suffering and getting actual wisdom and understanding that true healing kicks in along with empathy, compassion and loss of materialism. The is the true education that you pay a very high price for, maybe even your life. Until then we judge things with our university education, physical sensors and what's been stored up. There is no way I would go back to not knowing anything and being young and healthy, that's what I call death at it's best because there is zero awareness of anything else.
Dude, really? The collusion? It's a matter of degree - they may have done all they did simply because he was better for them but he did ask them, publicly, to dig into her emails & Manafort did send material/stats/info etc. to Russian operatives. He was pardoned for it - nut you have to be guilty & convicted to be pardoned. The beer company didn't fall...it was targetted by a bunch of meatheads for one of it's brews having had some LGBTI+ publicity. The way you use the term woke is worrying. What it DID mean was being awake & aware of other folk...as in I woke up and realized...it's "with empathy, compassion". University has always been unreal in many way. The academic learning does need real world exposure & context - I doubt any one would argue against that.

I think you are still missing the whole point of it all, all these things were seen long before they happened, the real news before the news, how does that work ? how is that even possible ? Are you getting your information from the news and your sensors ? Do the msm tell you the truth, do the 3 letter agencies, mockingbird media tell you the truth ? are you able to bet your life on what they tell you ? If people's life and their family's absolutely depended on finding the truth would they be more discerning of things rather than looking at it as simple politics, taking this side or that side, like supporting different football teams ? It goes back to the guy dying, the media can't help him, politicians can't help him, Dr Fauci certainly can't help him, he has to look deeper because he is forced to, he has not got the luxury to say she'll be right mate I will still go to work tomorrow and get paid, I can go to parties with friends, I can still eat normally, I can still walk normally, I can still breath normally. Death is life and life is death with no awareness. Those that have been on the other side of death all see the same thing and know what's going on and what's to come, no matter what country they live in they will all tell you the same thing. "that which is born flesh is flesh, that which is born spirit is spirit"
It's the same deal as Biab, most just work with what they have and know about Biab, but I look at it and say this ain't right it needs to work better, so I go a lot deeper into it than most users that just accept this is how it is and work with what they have. You have to dig deep to get the truth, this is what I liken it to below, those that can't see the deeper things attack those that can. Nonsense and ignore to one person but a profound understanding to another, they BLOCK it out because it's best to remain ignorant:

These are the original solo sections from a Biab track. Any section I can extend or shorten the original playing. If you watch the video where you have the gaps you can manually merge so there's no stop, you can't do that with a consolidated wav or in Biab now how it is: Reaper-RT-Solo-Extend.mp4

Agreed, and this is something planned for BB2024 (and BiaB plug-in w/DAWS like Reaper that support these track sections). This will open up lots of additional options when customizing solos and other tracks.
Because of the forum lighting up with "coding"
As I have said, long after I have gone users will be using all these features and functions, including those complaining about me posting stuff and telling the truth ! If they don't want to use them out of spite I can make up a list of things in Biab and BBPlugin from over the 14 years that they can avoid, or better still just use the 2009 version: Band-in-a-Box® Version 2009 and 2009.5 Update - Build 288
Things can change in an instant to bring understanding, you may have a flat tyre then....
I don't take my "news" from any one source. I pay attention to what conservative media offers as well as "liberal" media. I watch, read, and try to avoid bias confirmation as well as echo chambers. I attempt to critically analyse the "news" in terms of what is is and isn't, in terms of what an outlet choses to cover and what it avoids then what it hides or defends.
I'm old, I've done many years of union work alongside my employment but I also called out my union, often, when they weren't doing what was needed or the needed to take another look of their policies and focus.
I agree with you regarding that particular thread and the many threads that contain whines but no way forward from a majority of the participants.
The song in question is a whine. It offers no way forward. It demonises others further down the slippery pole than the songwriter. The fellow, who doesn't even use his real name, is a right wing pundits best tool & distractor.
"You take a very personal slant on things sir. " Yes it's not a main stream narrative. "I like the recording, I can understand and empathise with most of the narrative as well. There's no reference to "woke" in the song just another right wing ding bats grabbing the song and the backstory to make a conservative point... " "The song in question is a whine. "I attempt to critically analyse the "news" in terms of what is is and isn't, in terms of what an outlet choses to cover and what it avoids then what it hides or defends." You are using your left brain. "Here's a better analysis.." again left brain, left brain is eating from the tree of good and evil, it knows nothing of the tree of life, nothing, unless it be born of spirit. "theguardian" ? of the truth ? lol someone else posted a guardian link replying to something else I posted trying to set me on the right path, the name says it all, it exposes it "The Gods of this world has blinded..so that they cannot see the light". Again the guy dying, will "theguardian" help him and set him straight, will the university graduated/indoctrinated reporters show him the light ?
The song is a marker, a catalyst, it's a signal of things to come. Again, the things that have been show will happen as they have been happening, whether it's smoke over the east coast, beer companies going broke or someone falling on live TV that will signal a larger fall or the many other things. It can't do anything else but that. No amount of beautiful, authoritatively speaking MSM news anchors can change it.
A catalyst...no, more like a cyst - a reaction, a symptom not a detonator. If it were a signal of things to come - of punching down on welfare recipients, of decrying foreign aid, of whining with no solutions - it's a late rebroadcast because all of it was covered by the last LNP Federal govt.: they championed what he offers. You seem hell bent on not reading my post but interpreting it. I read yours, I consider, I look things up before responding. Your modern life is rubbish perspective isn't an isolated one. Your use of all the mod cons of coding etc. shows that you take what works for you and that you offer solutions to some problems - fabulous solutions. Left Brain/Right Brain/Concrete/Abstract/Visual/Intuitive/Auditory/Fidget Spinner/AD/HD. I don't take the Guardian as a gospel, I did try to make that clear, but I do trust Billy Bragg who happened to be in the Guardian so an easy link to non fire walled information. Your "analysis" of my response isn't an analysis but a matching of talking points. I'm not interested in setting you on "the right path". I am interested in balance in a conversation/debate/discourse so offered some. "The revolution will not be televised - it will be..." "The Revolution will not be on Truth Social..." "The Revolution will not be via Telegram..."

I haven't read this entire thread but I'll comment on verse 1.
I've been sellin' my soul, workin' all day Dude, most people I know have worked all day for decades and decades until their 60s or beyond; get over it man you don't even look 40! I started working all day at age 10 raking neighbors' leaves in the Fall and shovelling their driveways in the Winter for less than minimum wage. No one has seen me whine and cry.
Overtime hours for bullshit pay OK, so why haven't you invested in your education and skills matrix? Let me guess, you hate school and any form of instruction.
So I can sit out here and waste my life away This is your choice boy. Pull up on your bootstraps. What's that? You don't have any? Then kill a deer and make some.
Drag back home and drown my troubles away Do you really think spending 30% of your take-home pay on beer will improve your station in life?
Bottom Line: If you can't make it in these United States brother, you can't make it anywhere.
https://soundcloud.com/user-646279677 BiaB 2025 Windows For me there’s no better place in the band than to have one leg in the harmony world and the other in the percussive. Thank you Paul Tutmarc and Leo Fender.
"..it was covered by the last LNP Federal govt..."
I voted for Hawkie an Rudd, I saw Shorten go grey waiting for so long to get in, I wanted Al Gore to get in, I was happy when Obama got in, but this is all beyond politics what's happening now and goes into spiritual things. Those that are spiritually connected see what the story is. I try hard to lift you out of the physical thing by talking about death and those of us that have tasted it. If I talk about Biab injector depths and people don't understand, how much more will they not understand if I talk about spiritual things ? With all 4 of those songs there is a deeper spirit in them that is recognize, it's on another level, not by analyzing with your head but with your soul. As I said there will be shaking, shock and awe, this is needed for those that haven't waken already. It all depends on our level of sensitivity, I have no problem as my sensitivity level is way up on 100 most others operate on 10 until they go through some trauma and suffering, life support machines or NDE etc...
"...a deeper spirit in them that is recognize, it's on another level, not by analyzing with your head but with your soul...
AND THAT is the zone propaganda aims for. When I 1st heard the song I liked it...though it a bit whiney but liked it. I looked at the lyrics and instantly disliked them because of the bits that "seemed" snuck in under the cover of the general theme and gusto. National Anthems are intended to appeal to the spiritual, sacred, traditional aspects of the citizenry. That's why they go full bore and it works - lots of folk are sucked in by them - along with having been indoctrinated with them. All the big dictators & authoritarians appeal to deep feelings, usually bad ones, and do it very successfully. Hawke? I knew he was a con but he had some success...it didn't last once the "accord" had given business what it wanted they abandoned it. Rudd? Great start but not prepared for the long haul. Gillard - white anted and Abbotted, (with the help of dweebs like Angry Anderson), plus was ill advised on school funding. Shorten? He wasn't bad but he wasn't good - he's been a fab minister though. Albanese? He's looking, too much, to the long game, to getting re-elected to make long form change but may lose because his short game is all about avoiding being wedged. PLUS we traded can't say TH Bill for can't say TH Tony. Whitlam and Barnard were brave, reckless and made changes that changed the nation for the good, in the main.

It can be instructive and even eye-opening (if "open" constitutes any part of your being) to hear what the artist/writer actually intended...
