I noticed that one of the words/lyrics entered into a song by note-based method is wrong and when I edit it, it always reverts to the original, wrong word. I sure could use some help.

I use the notation editor regularly. If you select the bar for the word you want to change and then press CTRL + L, the lyric editor will open for a note in that bar. Using tab (forward) of SHFT + tab (backward) will allow you to navigate to the note you want. After you have changed the text, make sure you press enter or tab (to save) before pressing CTRL + L to exit the lyric editor.
With great trepidation I sallied forth to try your method. It did not work. It just changed back. BTW, when I hit the enter key to save the change, it did and moved forward t the next note and word. There was no word there and it was when I entered the word that the previous entry changed back. Thoughts?
I will try it a couple more times, but, "Insanity Is Doing the Same Thing Over and Over Again and Expecting Different Results." Maybe. I'll report back.
BIAB is a huge program and I am awed by what the coders have created. What I know is like five grains of sand on the beach in Panama City, Florida. Everything is so difficult, especially for me.
That is most strange. I've been writing lyrics into my BIAB songs since 2008 and I've never had this happen.
First, a good principle to keep in mind is that when BIAB starts doing unusual things, it is worth trying "Return to factory settings" using the "MOST" option. That often fixes a problem.
With this lyric issue, this is also worth trying...
(1) click on the "#" symbol (#1 on the top image) and then click on "Edit Lyrics" (#2)
(2) in the lyric editor, navigate to the lyric you want to delete and then delete it.
The format of the editor is "bar number : beat number : part of a beat"
Regarding the "part of a beat" (also called 'ticks'), and 1/8th note = 60, 1/16th note = 30
I am going to try all the things you recommended. I'll be back to you on that.
I wanted to take some screen shots to send, like you did above, but I could not insert it into the message. What did you do to get yours into the message?
I forgot to tell you that I did the "return to factory settings" just three days ago and that corrected a couple ailments that I had. At the time, I had not experienced the problem we are discussing.

Yes, I should have mentioned that you won't see it while editing even in preview mode. It becomes available after you actually post it. Anyway, the attachment shows up fine.
