Between moving and several major surgeries, I haven't been very active musically lately. As such, I haven't reported in here, either. Wanted to check in and see who's still active, who I might know, and who I might want to meet for the first time!

Sadly, we lost Don Gaynor earlier in the year (February 27th 2023). He was still a regular contributor right up until the end.

Good to see you again Ryszard, are you still playing that Country gentleman guitar, we saw the unboxing of one time, if my memory serves me right.

I'm still here, but I don't know if that counts as being in a "cohort".

I've only been here since 2010, which means I'm a relative youngster, despite my ever thinning and greying hair. wink

Matt! It's great to hear from you!

I got my wife that Yamaha WX5 and the horn synth module. She got to where she could blow a few notes--then broke a wrist--then had carpal tunnel surgery on both sides--then Life happened. It is sitting about 10 feet from me, ready for her when Life lets go of her throat.

A few years later I also got her a beautiful Vito tenor sax. Again, she found her lip--got to where she could blow a few scales--but had to put it down. Living with and taking care of her 90-year-old mother and keeping house takes EVERYTHING, and a bit more. I weep.

But we try to be patient. Hopefully we shall eventually have a life in which we can make music together. That has been my dream all along.

And you? How have you been?

Love,
R.
