OK - I finally got PT, BIAB, my laptop and my Edirol UA25-EX to cooperate and play nice together. I have a stable workflow, as long as I don't try to introduce any dreaded VST plug-ins into the equation.
I'm OK with that, but now I need to fatten up some of my guitar tones. What works for you? I've seen things like Amplitude and Guitar Rack. I don't want to mess with my good karma so I'm looking for PT-approved and tested products I can use for amp modeling and effects.
Any suggestions? Thanks!

People aren't ignoring your question, but VST's can be so system specific... hard to tell what will or will not work on your system. Amplitude has worked here, as has freeamp. They had some known issues with the freeamp plugin going to sleep, but claim to have fixed these with the 3.1 release... there are a few different versions out there, 1 thru 4, and any one may work better than another on your system. http://rekkerd.org/fretted-synth/The Helian bass amp can do quite a bit for some bass tracks and is found on that site also. CrunchDude preamp works well here for certain things... Too many to name them all actually. Some plugins like like guitar rig have some timing issues in PGProducts when trying to sync to song tempo for delay, etc.
I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome

I have IKMultimedia Amplitube as well as their Ampeg SVX. I'm a bass player it's great stuff and works flawlessly with RB & PT

Any Ampeg SVT plugin should also feature that wonderful life-threatening electric shock offa the tube topcaps when the bass player takes the amp out of the case...
Label it, "Bodine-O-Phone" and store as a Preset.

No Kidding. These youngsters buying the new SVTs don't have a clue about the plate voltage on those 6550's.

Pick and Noodle - keep your eyes peeled on Computer Music magazine cover DVDs. At least once a year, they give away a fairly full featured version of one of the 'biggie' amp simulators.
Last year about this time they gave away Guitar Rig.
I've been using Amplitube LE for years with enjoyment.
Also shop your local Craigslist for Behringer V-Amp Pro units. Loads of great amp simulation and it will ALWAYS work with PG products, simply as an input into your soundcard (they have SPDIF outs if your card has SPDIF inputs).
