Unless there is some kind of serious issue, things rarely get changed overnight. That had been my observation / experience. That's really as it should be. Just about any change, including bug/issue fixes, carries a risk of breaking something else. If it isn't a serious issue, then more time testing and verifying is sensible, rather than just pushing out the change.
Jazz relative beginner, starting at a much older age than was helpful.
