Hi Folks. Here is a tune I wrote a couple of months back. I messed up on a key change in the last chorus, but it was too late to turn back, so I recorded "as is". All constructive comments are always welcomed and thank you for giving this time. I Am Learning Lyrics: Stranded on deserted island. No place to hide, or run from yourself. Whispers of sand, music of water, But you keep burning fires, waiting for help. I am learning to breathe like fish underwater, Crawl like snake in the garden, Fly like crow through the valley, Hunt like lions and tigers. I am hungry mosquito, An old leatherback turtle, A kitten-bandito, Honey bee on a myrtle. This world has (an) identity crisis, Forgetting that life is priceless... Don't put a tag on me, don't put a tag on me. Don't make me paint my pride, or make me choose a side, Or ride your wild tide while I am sleeping. Do you remember the time when life seemed so easy? Misha, fun tune! The music has a mystical, hypnotic vibe to my western ears, and the lyrics hint at meanings I'm still discovering. Makes for fun listening (twice so far). Think your key change "mess up" sounds fine, at least to me. Great vocals and nicely mixed, too. Love it, like all your stuff. Thanks for sharing!

Wow, I really like this one! I really like the feel of the main section especially.
Love that Soloist Dire RT! Great sound. First listen I thought it was a tad too loud in the mix, changed my mind on my second listen, it's right where it should be.

My favorite part is when you start breathing underwater. Really good write, Misha, and I really like the vocal --and of course all the magic you build behind it. Very cool changes that dance around as you learn. Man, you always present the songs that make your listeners want to stand and applaud --so I actually did this morning. It sounded like a tree falling when no one was around, but the crash was full of respect.

The first thought that came in my mind while listening to your song was "I really like it".
When writing this down here, I saw Dave had the same words. Well, now we both do.
But I don't think it's a fun story. It is a harsh one and all so true!
The way you sing it feels lighthearted, but I think you're more cynical because of everything that's happening these days.
Am I right, or do you just say "thanks Hans"...

I expect the unexpected with every new song you write, and you never disappoint.
I don't know why I like this song so much, it's kinda hypnotic, but I LOVE it.
Some unusual arrangement choices, but that's probably why your song works so well.
