To the OP, the short answer is yes, you can add your own drums or create a drum performance from any of the big names in drum software, to your biab tracks. It's a question of function really and how best you choose to do it. If realband isn't hardy enough for you, there's plenty of other daws you can use to pull it all together. Having used realband quite a bit now, I find it good for assembling realtracks and such, but for the business of mixing down I choose another daw. But realband is capable enough to do what you want to do.
