BiaB itsefl does nto write to the registry, therefore there is no appearance of it in Add/Remove. This is a really cool feature of the program IMO.

You can simply copy the entire BB folder right over to the new drive.

However, the new system will need to also have the DirectX plugins and the PGMusic fonts installed, which do have to install to system. (Also any of the DirectX synths you may be using for MIDI, such as the VSC DXi, etc. must be installed via an Installer, as they write to the registry too.)

Your original Install disks from PGMusic have an option to only install those three items and not the whole shebang.

The Updater doesn't do that.

So it goes like this:

1) Copy the entire bb folder over to the new drive.

2) Use the Installer program to install only the Fonts, DX effects and DXi synth(s).

Done.

The same applies to RB and PT.

Neat way to do things, your songs folders and everything else come right over to the new drive and will be ready to use just as before.
