Hi Folks, Last month was not kind on my health and my music hobby had to take back seat, but I don't want to bore you with that. I think this is the first instrumental I am posting on the forum I wrote this a few weeks back and I want to dedicate this to my forum friend, MIDI guru Mario D. He helped me with many technical issues over years and inspired me to re-think working with MIDI. This piece while not complex, has a lot of MIDI programming that was somewhat challenging to me, but overall it was a fun and new experience. Mario, Thank you for being here. All critical comments are welcomed and thank you for listening. Hi, Misha.
Pleasant listen, with one section transitioning into the next.
I hope you're doing better!

Crikey Misha, I hope you're well now & weren't in to much discomfort or pain. This is cool my only mix comment would be that the 1st snare is a bit loud but sounds fine when it transitions to the more trad snare. BIG textures - midi is great for that I know. A really enjoyable listen - my mind following the changes and accepting them rather than predicting. Very cool.

Hope you are doing well, Misha. Hopefully this new month will make up for the last. First of all, you are right about Mario being the master. This is really good. I enjoy your changes and you imcorporated some fine dynamics to elevate the interest. Nicely done and I can amost still hear the lyrics you would've composed for this piece. Love the title. Color me very impressed with your MIDI talent.

Misha,
A real treat. A stunning piece. The production/arrangement (which change - or move - together) is art. Spectacular. My ears are in awe.
Wow.

When I read the title, I knew it was you, Misha This is very cool, lots of little details to listen to that kept my attention. Well done, I really enjoyed the listen. I wish you a speedy recovery and return to normality.

Lovely song, Misha. The textures surge and evolve in interesting ways that are hard (or maybe impossible) for BiaB to duplicate. It's easy to forget how the features (and limitations) in BiaB influence and ultimately limit our musical choices. So...congratulations and well done! And you're right: Mario rules!
Wishing you better health.

Misha, first I'm glad that you are feeling better. Second, thanx so much for those very kind words. Third, this is an outstanding song and showcases what MIDI can do. Excellent choice in sounds. RTs are really good for some things but I think MIDI is a lot more versatile, but you already knew that! Great mix and great song. You have set a new standard for us MIDI users!

David, Thank you for listening, your feedback & wishes! --- Ray, Thank you for giving this time, your feedback and tech comment. Drums are a tricky beast. ---- Marty, Thank you for listening and kind words! The more I "think" I understand, the more I come to conclusion how little I know --- FJ, Thank you for listening and your kind words! --- B.D., Thank you for giving this time and your kind wishes. Mario usually writes up whole scenario, I had to at least come up with the title --- Ron, Thank you for your positive feedback and interesting comment. "It's easy to forget how the features (and limitations) in BiaB influence and ultimately limit our musical choices." That's so true. Fortunately MIDI helps to shape composition in preferred direction. --- Mario, Thank you for your feedback! For years you've been asking for PGM/BIAB to pay more attention to MIDI and this year's MTP library (MIDI section tab) is a small win for us. Definitely more work is needed. I wanted to make it a bit fluid, but still ended up with common song form, your tunes are much more placid --- Bob, Thank you for listening & your feedback!

Hope you're feeling better Misha. As for this song, well done. Very creative and musical, I particularly like the piano. And the chord progression is quite fluid with constant motion. A great piece of work.

Firstly we hope you are feeling better! That is an amazing production. HUGE in sound and soundstage. What a crystal clear mix with remarkable dynamics. Other than our regular use of MST pianos midi is way beyond us. We have long admired Mario’s use of it and, man, your work here sounds great. Much enjoyed by us two, J&B PS Sometimes for us a new musical direction is fun but a bit like stepping off a cliff.
Our albums and singles are on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube Music, Pandora and more. If interested search on Janice Merritt. Thanks! Our Videos

Hello Misha, health is our most precious asset. Being a chronically ill person myself, I know what I'm talking about. Also I wish you well. Your song is very good and you must continue to delight us. Laurent
