Ambitious writing, and it does come off - bravo. Very, very catchy hook ... nice  And yes, been there, done that, too, lol. I'd be surprised if there's someone who hasn't. But your song is so well written, it brings (as it were) a kind of a fresh perspective on something that could be trite. Thanks to your writing and performance, it isn't. And that's a skill in itself. Well done James, why...thank you! Definitely the nicest thing I've heard today, probably all week.
