Anyone can try this?
1. File > Open Special > Open Stems Splitter Player
2. Open > Any Audio file
3. Click on "Split" > "Could not open the audio file" error message
4. Click on "Split" again > "There was an error initilizing the Stems Pro Object"
5. Click on "Split" again > "There was an error splitting some songs: x"
Etc.
Latest BIAB version, latest build.

Yes, but this is an offline process anyway, correct?

Seems to work ok here on my machine. I am not positive but I do think it works offline. The AI lyric deal is online though.

Also, be aware whether you use the Stem Splitter or the Stem Splitter Player, the files are extracted and saved in the same folder as the song being split resides in.
The Splitter loads the master and individual split tracks into the Mixer, the Player operates the same as when loading a Midi file where every track plays on the Melody Track in the Mixer.
In the Player, right clicking on a track allows removing that track from the Mixer but the file remains in the directory.
Using the Stem Splitter, the del button for tracks also only removes the Track from the Mixer and the files remain in the directory.
Using the Stem Splitter, Uncheck the Preserve WAV Files button and the tracks are loaded into the Mixer and erased from the directory the song being split resides in. The Split tracks are saved with the SGU file in the directory the SGU file is saved to.
BIAB 2025:RB 2025, Latest builds: Dell Optiplex 7040 Desktop; Windows-10-64 bit, Intel Core i7-6700 3.4GHz CPU and 16 GB Ram Memory.

It's really strange, I've moved the original mp3 file to another folder and suddenly...it works. But if I try the same with the same file on its original folder I get the error messages described above. I'll try to investigate further, if I have some time.
On the other hand, I've just tried and, definitely, the stem separation process works enterely offline, it doesn't need internet connection.

There's definitely some kind of problem here, opening a file within certian folders produces several error messages, while moving the same file to a blank folder and then opening it with the Stem player works OK.
Don't really have time / energy to investigate further to try to isolate the problem, just leaving the info here in case someone wants.

There's definitely some kind of problem here, opening a file within certian folders produces several error messages, while moving the same file to a blank folder and then opening it with the Stem player works OK.
Don't really have time / energy to investigate further to try to isolate the problem, just leaving the info here in case someone wants. Most likely the original folder has some sort of permissions restriction - the only way I was able to duplicate this is by removing write privileges from the folder containing my audio. Either way, if you run into this issue again, the best way to proceed is to move the file to somewhere with full permissions, such as your Desktop.
