its easier if you layout your song arrange in rb.
heres what i did...i did it all in rb.

1..set the track heights i wanted.
2..laid out my chords in chord sheet.
3..genned the rd/rd session musos.
4..saved as whatever song name i wanted.
eg 'rock the new year'...lol.

then carry on working in rb saveing every now and then.
when finished exit rb make a cuppa tea...lol.
after tea break...

5..boot up rb then...
6..under FILE (top menu) youll see your latest song...in this case 'rock the new year.seq'.
opening the seq will set the desired track heights.
actually how i name songs are eg...
ROCK+THE+NEW+YEAR.seq.

now if initially you set your track heights and you only need do this ONCE for all songs your doing.
with blank tracks set track heights and save as
JHG+TEMPLATE.seq
THEN...
when you start a new song eg lets say the songs called
'beagles serenade' then just load the JHG+TEMPLATE.seq and your track heights will automaticaly display...then save the song as BEAGLES+SERENADE.seq
see ? in summary each time you start a new song just load the jhg template and your needed track heights will already set...et voila.

ie you dont HAVE TO use bb. you can do it all in rb.

the only idea is IF you MUST use bb you will need to import the bb song THEN set the track
heights and save as seq once and go on from there for each song imported.

is there a reason you MUST use bb ?

thats all i got .
just experiment.

happiness.
