Actually i wish i had taken a look at this last night that might have been a good idea. After three hours of hassle i bit the bullit and downloaded Ubuntu, and it took all of 45 minutes to have it up and running with internet and e-mail support. I still have to figure out a driver for my printer, but have high hopes. The system is smooth and fast. I did not dual boot i actually installed over everything to get a clean system. Heck if that does not pan out i can always just install windows over it again.

I had redhat fedora, but something never was right in it, and for some reason it did not want to let me upgrade it evn though i read and re-read the instructions. So I went another direction.

I will let y'all know how it goes.
