Hi everyone, wondering if you can help me with a small issue I am having.
When I get the chord wizard to interpret chords for me, I do not always agree with all the choices that it makes, and so amend the list manually.
The problem is when I try to set the chord sheet to allow me to enter a different chord per beat. The options allow me to change to this, but when I select OK, it goes back to a 2 beat resolution.
I have tried to change just a small 2 bar selection with no luck as well. The song I am currently having these difficulties with is 4/4 at a tempo of 67.

If you are using the Chord Wizard then I take it you are also using the ACW to convert an audio recording to Chords and such?
If so, you may have also created a Tempo Map for the song. This is where the critical First Bar placement - and any other timing replacements - are controlled.
Open the Tempo Map at that bar and see what it says there, try Editing it there.
Not sure if that is your problem, but sounds like it may be the case here.

Thanks for the reply, but not quite the issue I am having.
I am opening a midi (.kar) file originally downloaded from the web
Would this have the "tempo map"scenario that you are detailing.

I'm not sure if this is your problem, but to enter two chords in one cell, just separate them with commas. That will put a chord on each beat.
| [ C,F ] [ C,G ] |
This will be interpreted as a C chord on beat one, an F chord on beat two, a C chord on beat 3, and a G chord on beat 4.
Or are you having a different problem.
Also, be aware that some MIDI and KAR files don't necessarily line up properly to bar lines. They sound fine, but the creators mess with the alignment as a sort of copy protection for the file, so they don't look right when trying to disassemble them.
