so I write G sus, and the program always puts in these stupid sevenths, even when i select simple arrangement, etc. What most of us mean by 'sus' is a suspension, in popular music that's a 4th, although that's by no means the only one.

It has nothing to do with 7ths, b5ths, #9ths, etc.

This program is incapable of playing triads, the argument being that a triad is too simple or not interesting enough, which is a false conclusion. I know all my chord extensions inside and out, but not all of us are jazz musicians.
