You had me completely mesmerised. What really appealed to me was that this sometimes sounded distinctly 3/4 and other times it sounded like a slow 6/8 (especially when the snare drum was on the first beat of alternating bars).

In terms of timesig, it's amazing how easily a 3/4 time signature can feel like 6/8 when you simply add an alternating kick/snare pattern.
But to be honest, it wasn't a conscious decision, I just played what felt best.
As is often the case, I don't know what I'm actually doing smile
But I'm always happy when people like you, who know way more about music theory than I do, explain to me what I've actually done.
I'm here to learn!
