Another great effort from you. I would never have guessed you had all the obstacles you described, it turned out quite well. You get better results than I do with AI vocals, I would like to know your secret. Well done, Brain! Thank you for your kind feedback, Rob. As far as the vocals, there's no secret, but of course it helps that, in another life, I rescued trainwrecks of recordings of local bands and learned a lot about vocals in the process. The same applies to AI vocals and (to a lesser extent, as they are much cleaner and are already isolated) Synthesizer V vocals. In a nutshell: - Extract the vocal stem using Steinberg's SpectraLayers (or if you use Suno, just download the vocal stem, as they do a good job there)
- Convert it to mono to remove the most obvious artifacts and to remove their weird panning that happens from time to time
- Remove as much reverb as possible (there are plugins for this) without cutting off the actual vocals.
- Remove the remaining (and annoying) high frequency "shine" that Suno adds to most female vocals with an EQ or two
- Send the result to a reverb and/or delay of your choice
- Automate the vocals like crazy to make them truly expressive.
Passion needs volume automation. A motorized fader is very helpful for this.
Depending on the source material, additional steps may be necessary, but the above covers the basics. I care A LOT about vocals, so it can be tedious sometimes, but unfortunately there are no shortcuts. I hope this helps you a little!

Hi B.D.! I agree - there aren’t enough good 3/4 RealStyles, but you did well to create yours! Loved the video as well. Andrew Thank you for your kind comment, Andrew. Much appreciated ![[Linked Image - Only viewable when logged in]](https://www.pgmusic.com/forums/images/icons/default/thumbs_up.gif)

Great sounding arrangement, B.D. Not an instrument too many or too few. Love that A1 breathy vocal.
I agree there’s not enough 3/4, 12/8 styles in the Box

Hi, B.D. Ha! I can relate to picking a style, and then looking for more instruments and coming up short. Isn't the point of having BiaB that you don't have to do it yourself? Shudder... Those AI videos with perfect skin tone. Uncanny. As for the song? It sounds great. Vocals spot on, interesting arrangement - all around good job. Welcome to the missing RealTracks support group, David Thank you for your really kind comment. In terms of uncanniness, the video was just a proof of concept for a) character consistency, b) perfect lip sync, and c) natural acting and breathing, without having to pay for a subscription, as everything runs locally. It is no problem to add skin imperfections such as freckles, scars, or something like missing teeth, if necessary.

This is really good. On so many levels.
You can find my music at: www.herbhartley.comAdd nothing that adds nothing to the music. You can make excuses or you can make progress but not both. The magic you are looking for is in the work you are avoiding.

We enjoyed reading the cool narrative of the creation.
“Don't raise me up so tall Cause I would have to fall” That is really standout.
Bella sounds awesome as always. You and the BiaB session guys work very well together. Great arrangement, mix and we enjoyed the different take on the love song.
We played a lot of waltz time during our bluegrass gigging days … always nice to hear one here.
Well done!

Less is more as they say. Loved the verse with the E Guitar! Sounded professional to me. Beautiful vocal as well.
I’m listening on my iPhone speakers and the only nit-pick, which might be from my speaker, vocals were a little hard to understand on chorus when the distortion guitar(s) kicked in. Might just be my iPhone, but I loved the song and you did an amazing song!

Hi BD.
Once again, you have cleared the "this is brilliant" bar with plenty of room to spare. I absolutely LOVE what you've done. The arrangement, the production, the vocals are stunning. You had me completely mesmerised. What really appealed to me was that this sometimes sounded distinctly 3/4 and other times it sounded like a slow 6/8 (especially when the snare drum was on the first beat of alternating bars).
I thoroughly enjoyed this audio/visual journey. --Noel Wow, what a review. Thank you so much, Noel! In terms of timesig, it's amazing how easily a 3/4 time signature can feel like 6/8 when you simply add an alternating kick/snare pattern. But to be honest, it wasn't a conscious decision, I just played what felt best. As is often the case, I don't know what I'm actually doing But I'm always happy when people like you, who know way more about music theory than I do, explain to me what I've actually done. I'm here to learn!

B.D.
Awesome.
Guitars sound Great. Bass sounds Great. Drums sound Great. Vocals sound Great.
LOVE the melody. Love the "space" in both the write and the production.
Gorgeous mix.
Love the write-up, too....
Please tell us what you use to do the video. (sites and/or software). Amazing consistent character. Amazing lip-sync. Details. please. How much time does it take?
Color me Impressed. On so many levels.
fj Thanks a lot for your really nice comment, Floyd. Highly appreciated The making of the video in a nutshell: - It all runs locally on my PC, I hate subscriptions
- You need an NVIDIA graphics card with at least 16 GB of VRAM, the more the better
- I use 2 AI models:
Qwen-Image-Edit to create and modify images LTX-2 to create the videos - There's a (browser-based) tool called ComfyUI (see https://www.comfy.org/ ) to run the AI models
- There's a guy on YouTube who creates workflows for using the AI models in ComfyUI: Nerdy Rodent (YouTube) where I learned the basics.
Everything is now also described on the model pages linked above, but it is still a good idea to watch the videos.
In terms of time required, it took me about a week (2-3 hours per day) to explore all the possibilities and customize the ComfyUI workflow to my needs. However, you only need to do this once and can then use it for all your videos. My main focus was on a) character consistency, b) perfect lip synchronization, and c) natural acting and breathing. For the next video, I plan to make the characters look more natural, but that shouldn't be too difficult. The final video took about four hours with a lot of trial and error until all the scenes matched my vision. It's a good idea to write a film script beforehand! Then another hour to sync the scenes to the music in my video software.

Now this one I wasn't able to get to when YT sent notification. So this is my first with the video. Ai is getting better. And so are you, Brain. Extraordinary composition and production. Thanks a lot, my friend ![[Linked Image - Only viewable when logged in]](https://www.pgmusic.com/forums/images/icons/default/thumbs_up.gif) Back in 2022, my first videos here were created using professional animation software ( iClone - at that time, it was the only software that could handle lip sync ), and apart from the fact that the software wasn't exactly cheap, it was MUCH more difficult to achieve less-than-perfect lip synchronization. And that was just the lips. Eyes, breathing, simple body movements, everything had to be done by hand. A simple "raise your arm and grab the microphone" required hours of work to make it look real. And a video took more than 24 hours to render completely. So, YES, AI is definitely a game changer here.
