Torno dopo moooolto tempo a riaffacciarmi su questo forum, ma negli ultimi mesi ho avuto mooooolto da fare: un trasloco, una bimba ;-) E tanto per non farmi mancare nulla ora mi sto godendo un bel "crash" del mio PC che mi ha costretto a formattare tutto e ricominciare da capo: e pensate voi che sia facile ritrovare i cd di BIAB dopo un trasloco?  Quindi ora mi ritrovo un bell'hard disk quasi nuovo e niente BIAB...  A questo punto o mi installo BIAB 2007 (quello sì che l'ho trovato!), oppure mi (ri)compro BIAB2008.5 con tutti i suoi nuovi aggiornamenti oppure aspetto BIAB2009. Tanto per aiutarmi a decidere... per quando è prevista l'uscita di BIAB2009? Mi devo aspettare qualche buona offerta di fine anno come al solito? Aspetto fiducioso (specie Maurig!!!) e ringrazio. Di 2009 non so niente, il team è molto impegnato nei nuovi RealTracks e in Realband, in questo momento. Comunque ritengo che se scrivi a PGMusic con gli estremi del tuo ultimo acquisto, te lo faranno downloadare un'altra volta. Oramai lo sai quanto sono disponibili.

Allora... mi tocca fare un'altro elogio pubblico della PGMusic.
Li ho contattati come suggerito da maurig esponendo loro il mio problema e molto cortesemente mi hanno messo a disposizione una serie di link per scaricare tutto il software: anzi, siccome sono stato poco "reattivo" e i link erano scaduti, me li hanno riattivati per un secondo tentativo.
Ovviamente dopo pochi giorni ho ritrovato i CD originali!!! :-)
Alla PGMusic avevo prospettato anche l'eventualità di acquistare un aggiornamento del mio BIAB2008 per avere Realtrack, ma - UDITE UDITE - me lo hanno sconsigliato perchè la versione 2009 era in arrivo.
E ora, vista tanta gentilezza e correttezza, posso esimermi dall'acquisto? :-)
Anzi... ho visto una super offerta completa di un hard disk USB da 80 giga e mi sa che...

Mannaggia io invece ho aggiornato da un mese il mio Band In A Box alla versione 2008.5 ed ora ecco che compare la versione 2009, se lo avessi saputo avrei aspettato, e oltretutto i nuovi RealTraks che sono usciti ora con la "vecchia" versione non funzionano (lo specificano bene sul sito) e visto che voglio acquistare i vari RealTraks jazzistici e blues mi sà che mi toccherà ancora mettere mano al portafogli Meno male che c'è un offerta natalizia e cercherò di approfittarne anche se un pò però mi dispiace.

non sono sicuro che con la 2008.5 non funzionano. Dove lo hai letto?
Comunque li ho provati, e iniziano proprio a essere un altro modo di fare le basi. Li trovo fantastici. Per di più, penso che ne usciranno semrpe di nuovi e migliori.

Viene specificato sulla pagina dove si ascoltano le demo ad esempio http://www.pgmusic.com/realtracks28.htm comunque ho appena acquistato l'aggiornamento alla versione 2009 insieme a tutti i vari RealTracks che anche io trovo veramente fantastici e in fase di installazione viene specificato che per poterli usare bisogna avere la versione 2008.5 me è caldamente consigliata la 2009 o "superiore". A parte il piccolo inconveniente di cui ho parlato sopra devo dire che questo software e i suoi produttori sono veramente una chicca. Soddisfazione 100% e non vedo l'ora che arrivino i prossimi Real. Ciao.

Prova RealBand che ti mandano insieme al Pack. Io inizio a trovarlo veramente utile per fare delle basi RealTrack, perchè puoi aggiungerne una per ogni traccia, o per un pezzetto di una traccia. In pratica è facilissimo creare una session in cui ogni strumento suona ad esempio per 8 misure, o solo in un ritornello, e lo puoi fare per tutti gli strumenti che vuoi. Le possibilità creative sono infinite. Ho fatto una base jazz per Killing me Softly with this Song, e poi ho aggiunto nei tre ritornelli, una volta un assolo di Sax tenore, un'altra un assolo di Trombone, e poi un assolo di pianoforte. Be', che dire.... Incredibile. E tutto questo può essere mixato anche con il resto in MIDI. Che musica:

Si il RealBand l'ho provato e penso che per le mie basi sarà fondamentale come il suo fratellone Band in a Box, manca ancora di qualche possibilità di modifica sulle tracce ad esempio non si possono muovere all'interno dell'editor oppure il supporto del drag and drop nella finestra di lavoro ma tutto sommato sono cose che si possono ottenere anche in altro modo, invece sono molto utili le funzioni che hai menzionato tu e vanno veramente alla grande ed oltre a quello aggiungo che la possibilità di poter usare anche Plug In (tipo VSTi) diversi per ogni traccia MIDI rende il tutto molto piacevole e reale. Io suono il Sax per pura passione e le basi che con questi due software riesco a costruire sono veramente belle e mi danno modo di esercitarmi con soddisfazione anche quando non sono con il mio gruppo. Killing Me Softly with His Song mi piace molto ed una versione jazzistica......  mi intriga davvero tanto. Ottimo! Ciao e alla prossima.

Il 25 dicembre ho fatto l'ordine e il 30 è arrivato il pacco tramite corriere... Rapidità sorprendente, considerato pure che sotto Natale i corrieri vanno regolarmente in tilt...
E sorpresa ancora più grande... nessuna "spesa" aggiuntiva!!! :-)
L'HD è un simpatico 2,5" (e quindi senza alimentatore esterno) SATA con case in alluminio corredato di custodia in similpelle e cacciavitino.
Basta collegare, far girare un setup.exe e si ha subito tutto il mondo BIAB pronto a girare dall'HD!
Il mio misero 60GB del portatile non verrà quindi oberato dai 40 e passa GB di BIAB e inoltre potrò portarmi la mia "band" anche in ufficio!
Che vuoi di più dalla vita? :-)
