It has been released a new operating system for Macbook Pro named TAHOE. What version of BiaB run on this new operating system ? I do not want to upgrade until I know if my BiaB can be run in this new operating system.

2025 works fine overtime Tahoe and has on my test Volume since the first beta was released.
There are other apps that are not Tahoe friendly (yet? ever?) which is why it will be awhile before I upgrade my System drive from Sequoia.

I installed 2004 BIAB latest build with macOS Tahoe 26.2 on a new MacBook Pro M5 today and so far has no issues, but I'll keep on testing. I plan to upgrade to the next BIAB 2026 when released.

Tahoe 26.3.1 has fixed many bugs and the upcoming 26.4 fixes quite a few more.

Thank you for the info on the latest macOS Tahoe 26.3.1 which I just installed on the M5 MacBook Pro. So far the version 2024 BIAB (build 806) has shown no issues.

Thanks. Same here. No problems so far after I installed Tahoe 26.4 on the M5 MacBook Pro last night.
Version 2024 BIAB (build 806) still works flawlessly (via Rosetta 2).
If I understand correctly, support on Macs with software running on Rosetta may no longer be supported in 1-2 years (but I assume BIAB would still work for a while). I plan to upgrade soon as BIAB goes native on the Silicon Macs.

I plan to upgrade soon as BIAB goes native on the Silicon Macs. There are discussion threads on this. Apple has announced that Rosetta 2 will end Oct 2027 (unless they kick the can as they’ve done before) and Intel Macs will no longer be supported. PG Music has told us that BIAB will not be ARM Native before that happens. There are too many users who will not abandon their Intel hardware just to stay current with the macOS and BIAB — same thing happened when 32bit was dropped in 2019. Something similar happened in the world of pro studios. Over half the studios and mastering houses I deal with are happily running Pro Tools on a Mac Pro 5.1 (cheesegrater) or 6.1 (trashcan). These houses are still doing ok, collecting their Grammys and servicing their clients in the music business. AVID cannot be happy that some of the top names aren’t staying current. They can’t do everything their clients need, of course, but they are staying busy enough that farming out some tasks to niche providers like me makes good business sense.

Upgraded to UltraPak+ 2026, using Tahoe 26.4.1 M4max. Seems to be running just fine.

Doing a Clean Install of the shipping version today (it's been years), I ran the installers for a number of old add-on packs, (I go back to 2016). Some of these ship with the current version; others need to be installed from our purchased downloads.
All of my old Installers worked perfectly but… It occurs to me that all of these Installers all require Rosetta 2 to install onto my Studio M2 Ultra. While this will not be an issue till 2028, it will be then. Yes, we legacy users will be able to drag-n-drop from old Macs or external drives or whatever but new users will not be in the same boat.
Need to set a calendar alert for two years from now to bring this up.

When I opened BIAB (UltraPak 2026) just now, I got an Apple message to say that this app will not open with the next OS update.
Will PG Music provide a remedy?
