I’m looking for a Real Drum transition fill using tom toms and triplets with descending tone. I hear these a lot on pop/rock songs in the last bar of a chorus introducing the next one but none of the tracks in Real Drums Finder seems to have them. Any suggestions? Thanks.

This appears as an place where the new Playable RealTracks/RealDrums is ideally suited for. I've never used the RealDrums Playable Tracks but it's a straightforward process and as a transition, should fit unnoticeable in the mix. I do work with Playable RealTracks quite a bit and I think the concept is a powerful tool.
Because of the Midi component and ease of editing Midi, you may be able to locate a nice transition and copy it from an existing Midi file song and avoid having to do very much editing.
Here's what BIAB Chat says about Playable RealDrums:
"## Playable RealDrums in Band-in-a-Box 2026
**Yes—Band-in-a-Box 2026 includes “Playable” content that applies to RealDrums parts via Playable RealTracks Hi‑Q sounds.** In **Chapter 3**, Band-in-a-Box 2026 includes **Playable RealTracks Set 5**, described as “over 50 new ‘Playable RealTracks’ Hi‑Q sounds… which match many of our RealTracks so you can easily switch from **RealTracks and RealDrums parts to MIDI notes** while maintaining the instrument sound.”
In practice, this means you can take parts that would normally be audio-based (including RealDrums parts) and convert/perform them as **MIDI notes** while keeping a matching, realistic sound.
## Related 2026 drum feature (separate from “Playable”)
Also in **Chapter 3**, 2026 includes **two new “RealDrums Stems” sets**, which “allow you to access the individual wave files from each different mic used to record many of our RealDrums.” This is about deeper audio access/mixing control, not MIDI-playability."

Thanks for your responses. Unfortunately I don’t understand any of it. (What’s a c.d, e.g.)
I was hoping I could be pointed to a real drum style that had the fill I’m looking for.

A drum fill is much like a shot or hold: a specialty little trick to add that makes all the difference, but we don't have the level of control that would be nice. That might make a good Wishlist request someday to be able to drop in the drum fill of your choice from a library of fills.
Changing from B substyle to A gives the best chance of getting a strong drum fill, but you have to keep doing partial regeneration to audition it then freeze it.
The chord entry of C.d means this: the dot after a chord means silence. The comma means except. So C.d says, everybody rest except drums.
Somewhat related, there is also a way to control whether there is a fill or not on part markers.

Thanks Matt. Your comments are always so helpful. I think BIAB could make the drum fills between substyles more active.
