RB and PTPA have always been a slow roll. For the most part pretty solid.

Even the Off-Topic is quiet these days - it can go for ten days without a post. I remember it as being a lively place with interesting discussions and lots of witty repartee.

I check often. Waiting for Realband bug id#5082 to be fixed.
Major issue using F5 in chord view , generation does not obey F5 track settings.
Let's hope next update includes a fix

There's some other stuff from BiaB I'd like to see ported over as well .. like bringing Rebuild back
I don't like being taken back to BiaB just for that sometimes

The issue is that F5 allows you to define the changes as per BIAB and you seriously expect it to work.
Now I have to do BIAB, export tracks waves, import into RB.
To get the chords into RB you have to open the SGU file and THEN overwrite the track audio with the BIAB wave imports

(Sorry for the rambling, but it is frustrating)

BUT ...
Still a PGMUSIC disciple!

"Major issue using F5 in chord view , ..."

Does it work in other views, or not at all?

Nothing
When you generate the track it ignores the F5 instructions

That's what I thought/remembered.
F5 simply isn't supported in RB
Much like Rebuild ..

I haz a sad
Not as big of a deal to me as I don't try to retain many BiaB workflows in RB
It's not BiaB .. it's a different animal that uses 'some' BiaB features, and TBH I like it better than BiaB.
I have never had a base BiaB style work for me, so I find one with some tracks I like and start replacing other tracks right away in RB, so the BiaB features I use are pretty much RT related. Not Choruses and preset styles.

/that's just how I roll, I know others use it much differently, and I agree that is a feature people kind of expect after working in BiaB ..
// at least we kept the lights on for a while smile

maybe users of RB aren't having problems these days. i used to post when i couldn't do something i wanted to do and got useful help. or maybe new users aren't using RB which is a shame and all of us older guys have the program sussed out.

A good example of a great DAW that just never get finished properly. the thread about surprise that it allowed you to remove a track. the response is "it shouldn't do that" My question is WHY!!!! it should allow a track to be deleted even when running Most DAWs do. RB is a powerful DAW with a ton of features that are often overlooked. That said it needs a modernization program to bring it into the now.
