Really good piano work, as well.

I know what you mean about the paper. You should see my stack of school boy notebooks as Tunemonger describes. A mountain.

Yeah, keep doing it the old fashioned way, man. It is the only thing I respect so don't go changing. Keep on keeping it real. I am reminded somewhat of this ad. This my world view now. Ten years from, this could be me.

Do It The Old Fashioned Way

It fits that narrative vibe perfectly.
The musical arrangement is top-notch
your piano work and those

"Paper and Pen" is an absolute gem.
Keep rocking! 🎸

Quite a somber song, Floyd. But somber or not, hope is always to be found in your lyrics:

'So look for the light in the tunnel
look for the sun coming out
look for a way to find your joy
paper and pen'

I think that paper and pen is very well chosen here, both literally and used as a metaphor.
Yes, I don't need to tell you that this is a very cleverly written text, because all your lyrics are masterpieces in their own right!
The musical accompaniment supports that somber, yet also hopeful, quality of the lyrics well. You did a great job with that!
