As the tune played, I pictured myself in a dark alley alongside the jazz club; a brunette in a top hat, leotard, fishnet stockings and stilettos walked slowly towards me … I looked behind me to see who was there, but there was no-one … surely she couldn’t be looking at me? As she moved close and leaned in, placing her arm across my shoulder and blowing smoke in my face, I panicked, held up my left hand and pointed to my ring finger - “I’m married!”. Then the tune ended.
