A different take on a protest song (compared to mine), but definitely a good one. Strong lyrics, powerful vocals and a really good band, I especially like the piano your friend played. Yes, the world is changing rapidly, and not for the better. You argued that very well, David!
Look, we had gotten used to some scary world 'leaders' by now, but it is shocking that what used to be the leader of the free world is now embodied by a madman who turns everything he touches into mud. Especially freedom!
We, Europeans, may not be the epitome of strength, but we are at least collectively astonished at how quickly moral decay can set in in that 'free' world. Maybe we can find the answer to this.
Your song and singing style underscore this very strongly. Well done, David!
