Well, I sort of did this 2 years ago. I did a version of The Huron Carol - one of my favorite Christmas carol melodies.
I probably went a little overboard with it. I tried to do the song in the original Huron language - of which supposedly there may be only one or two people left on this earth that can speak the language.
I took my pronunciation cues from Bruce Cockburn's version of this song from 20 or so years ago. My version is slower. Good thing about singing in an ancient language is that there's nobody around to critique pronunciation.
