I remember that old Fender amps had a "tremolo" feature that basically varied the volume rapidly as if you were turning the volume knob up and down about 25% in a rapid manner - maybe three times per second. I'm NOT looking for this type of Tremolo.
In Gypsy Jazz, the word Tremolo means a rapid up and down strumming of the guitar strings, usually while holding a chord. I would like to add some Tremolo to the melody of a BIAB 2010 song, but don't see any way to do so without tediously constructing note ONs with a long decay tail, and then adding the same note ONs with about a 1/8th note delay, and repeat this for an entire bar or two. This would also be like putting 1/8th notes with the same pitch for a bar, and doing so for the other notes of the chord.
Any tips, tricks or suggestions on how to do this? Anyone know another word for this fast repeated strumming of strings? There is reference to a "mandolin tremolo" in some styles that is very similar to what I need, except mandolin tremolo is usually only on one string pair.

I know what you want to create, but I don't think you will find an easy way to do it inside BiaB at this point in time.
Now, if PGMusic comes up with some new Gypsy Jazz Guitar Realtracks, you might find joy there IF the guitarist recorded uses the tremelo somewhere in the initial recording. Still, we wouldn't be able to designate exactly *where* that would take place.
Note-on tricks with MIDI don't really cut it either, been there, tried that a long time ago. Tricks like that would typically "machine gun" when I tried them.
