Well with one ear sewed to my head and both of them sporting hearing aids.....enough said.

And next year I'm getting to England Scotland and France (I'd like to sneak into Holland it will be tulip time). But Germany has to wait until I do Germany Switzerland and France in 2012. I did hear you can get a 4 day Eurorail pass and get on every night after 7 and sleep on the train, go a long distance, visit that place, and then take the train to the next place while sleeping. I just might do that for 3 or 4 days who knows. I'm going to be in London for Easter.

Anyways, the flat picker can't compete with me, he has to write his scales application for the Iphone. I predict it will help the US treasury out of the recession. He has to give up suspenders though, the used the elastique in the 2011 version.

I moved south in 81. Always wore suspenders. Got rid of them because you'd be working in the fire station and one of the morons would snap them for fun. I once cut one black one most of the way through and put black tape on the spot and when the moron pulled it broke. I went on and on, complained, I knew he would pull them. Got great mileage out of that one.

Almost as good as the guy at #10 station made some smart ass comment about my new hat the fire department gave me. I started 'crying' because I had the hat due to skin cancer (true) but of not that thin skinned it was put on, but it was a moron so he needed to feel bad. LOL. Now I have no one to throw water at, put eggs in their fire boots, sneak playgirl magazines under their pillows (not moi!) or hide their lunch with a note saying thanks nice sandwiches. Home alone. Sigh.

Unfortunately, I came up with the idea of incorporating the “Circle of Fifth’s”, “Diatonic Progressions”, scales, modes, chords and arpeggios into BIAB at an inopportune time for BIAB. I don’t know if the BIAB 2011 version addresses all of these, but I was hoping to be able to sell these files in order to purchase the 2011 version, Once again, I’m a “day late and a dollar short”. And since I don’t have an iPhone and I’m not familiar with the format, the app will have to wait. It wouldn’t have helped the US Treasury too much, but it may have helped me upgrade to 2011.

It has been a good tool for me to play rhythm guitar and “sing” the melody parts, so it’s not a total loss.

And for the record, ……….. I’ve never had a set of suspenders, nor have I ever seen anyone besides Larry King wear them, (except of course on TV).

I guess you can chalk that one up to another stereotype that circles it's way down the drain. Go figure.

Silly me, I thought everybody I saw in WV wore them. Or was that Pikeville KY?

Actually, Pikeville, Ky was about 30 miles from where I was born, (and John, I sure hope you didn't pay for a personal search, since I've never mentioned KY, .........that is kind of strange, to say the least), ............. and they didn't wear them there either ..... unless they were trying to cator to a stereotype for the "outsiders".

W. Virginia. Don't you carry the shotgun? My buddy Tom from Akron married a woman from W.V. He used to grab her leg all the time and say he was going to make it the same size as the tother. Walked round mountains barefoot all day. Crazy guy. They moved to Northern Quebec in 71 just after I did. Talk about culture shock. Bought a fabulous farm with 2 springs, barns, gear, a horse, a cow, and a mule for 18k. Backed on a kinda mountain. The wife thought it home until winter came in September. LOL. Of course it left in June.

John,

I know you're striving for comedy, but it's based on ignorance.

What I'd like to know is how did you pick a town in the state and county where I was born, ............... a state that I don't think I've ever mentioned as being my birthplace on here before, so you had 1 out of 50 chances to get the state right ? Ky has 120 counties, and you picked mine, (another really good guess),and then you picked the closest town of any size to where I grew up. Since I've never posted that anywhere on the web, those were some really lucky guess's !

I've been to 2 places in KY. Lexington cause I went to uni in cinci, and they have barges with restaurants we used to go to. (And the airport) The second place is Pikeville on a trip with a bunch of friends, more than once, but I can say no more. It was a lot of fun, bus trip. Stayed in Paintsville or some such place, but the party was in Pikeville. I'm sure they are going this April too.

I forget where Tom's wife was from. But we hung out for years and I, as a really young guy, never heard that type of accent before. They had 5 kids, and Tom used to say, if the Lord sends 'em we keep 'em eh Elly Mae? I can't go to Pikeville this year, I'm in Europe....
