"We’ve made the size of the RealTracks much smaller so that they now only take up 30% of the space that they used to. After you install the program, you can run the feature in the RealTracks Settings dialog (Preferences), which will shrink the size of your RealTracks folders."
Where is this option? I could not find it in preferences/realtracks.

Prefs -realtracks erase un-needed +/- files (or something close)
Advised to backup them up first if on an older system
I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome Make your sound your own!

Yes, you can check out the stretch engine functionality without first erasing or losing any of your Realtracks files.
Make sure that "use +/- files" is unchecked, which is the default anyway.
When that is unchecked, you are telling the program to use the new stretch engine feature and you can see if it works okay on your setup.
If it works fine for a day or two, likely safe to go ahead and revisit the Realtracks prefs and tell it to "Erase unneeded Realtracks files" and gain abiout 2/3 of the disk space back.
The Elastique stretch engine works fine here running XP SP3 on an AMD turion laptop, BTW. I think your machine will handle the load just fine.

Playing around with my just downloaded BIAB 2011. Cool new features! Shrinking RealTracks will save over 70 GB space on hd!
But after shrinking the RealTracks I got some problems. Biggest one: Frozen Tracks from 2010.5 sound strange with 2011 and shrinked RealTraks. Are there informations inside the ereased files, the frozen 2010-tracks still need to sound in 2011 as good as before? Should I restore the backuped files?

Aren't use +/- and HQ stretch engine TWO DIFFERENT OPTIONS in RT prefs???
On my XP system, enabling +/- seemed to be OK, but enabling HQ stretching hung program up.
I have a XP system with P4 at 2.4 mHZ only one gig RAM.

Enabling +/- is invoking doing things the same way that BB did in ver. 2010.5 - needs all the +/-Realtrack files.
Enabling HQ Stretch is enabled on my meager old XP machine and it works, don't know what to tell you on this one, other than to try shutting down the program with that setting invoked, reboot the puter and reopen and see how it behaves then.
