If you are using ASIO sound drivers in BiaB and attempt to open RB using the same ASIO drivers, this can happen.

The thing to do if you want to have both programs open at the same time, as in one minimized to the taskbar and not fully closed down, like you might want to do when using the Drag and Drop feature of BiaB, is to set the BiaB Audio prefs to MME Windows Sound drivers, leaving RB set to the ASIO drivers.
