this is what I like about the forum.

By the time performers are making artistic judgment calls about how they want to present their music, it means the fundamentals are a done deal. This software gives us tools to pursue the final product in a bunch of different ways. I like having that flexibility.

We can go for the "wall of sound" or we can simulate the physical limitations of a very specific virtual band. We can be synthetic or acoustic. Imitators or originators. There's no right or wrong way, just a lot of possible ways.

I like hearing how different people navigate the possibilities.
