BiaB doesn't recognize MIDI transport commands.
There are a few MIDI commands via the Conductor feature, designed to work mainly with MIDI keyboard controllers but you may be able to program your Axiom to send those. These commands are really only apropos to certain situations in live gigging, though.
The ability to handle Transport commands as standard MIDI commands has been a Wishlist item for a time now. Add your request to the Wishlist.
