Just wondering how much space this requires?
It seems to want to install 9999 WAV files on my computer so I cancelled it...

Is it on a hard drive?
A CD?
A DVD?
Did you check the size?
I think it's very small.

I downloaded it with the 2011 upgrade plus bonus pack option.
The install setuppmc1.exe is about 78 mb but it's already installed some WAVs into my BB/Drums folder. Actually, what it seems to be doing is extracting WAVs from the WMAs for everything.
Lots of other Apps e.g. Master Flatpick Guitar Solos, Master Jazz Guitar Solos now launch Beginner pianos with a floating point error.

It's really a question for support. It's an older program, usually a program starts off by telling you how much disk space it need. To be honest, given the fact you can get a hard drive for a few dollars now, I'd look for one with a usb interface and install other 'stuff' there.

So, I uninstalled this but I still think that my disk needs tidying up.
I had installed it into my BB folder to keep everything together instead of Win 7 Program Files x86.
Am I right that there should be no WAV files in my Drums folder at all (I have Everything PAK but not audiophile)?

In the everything pack you will see wma files and not wave files. They can be converted or expanded to wave but you will not gain any quality by doing so.

Well, I have 235 WAVs in there taking up 11.3 GB. Good thing I stopped it, but why on earth would installing Beginner Piano do that?

I think it has WAV files of real piano examples of the tunes in it...

Hello Mus,
You should install the Beginner Piano MasterClass to a different folder than your bb folder. The audio files are included as wma files in the installer to make it smaller, but the Master Class program itself needs wave files to work, so the wma are decompressed to wave once the program is installed.
Since you installed it to your BB folder, it thought that all of the wma's in the bb folder needed to be decompressed. We should prevent that from happening in the future.
Unless you have the "AudioPhile" version of the Band-in-a-Box program, you don't need to have any waves in your Drums folder. In the Band-in-a-Box program, in the RealDrums Preferences dialog there is an option to "Archive" which will get rid of those wave files for you.
