My Yamaha P90 piano doesn't do drum sounds. This is fine for most of the jazz tunes I work with, because I can use the RealDrums. The drums play through the computer's speakers, and the bass and piano play through the P90.
However, for jazz waltzes, I have no RealDrums, so I practice with the drums muted.
What are some solutions that would allow me to have drums for waltzes?

What's your version of BIAB? Jazz Waltz Realdrums have been around for a little while. Jazz waltzes are part of Realdrum set #24. I'm not absolutely certain but, as far as I can recall, these were introduced sometime around 2009.5 or 2010. Realdrum set #2, one of the very early sets, also has some Jazz Brush Waltzes.
Have you double-checked in the Realdrum picker to confirm that you version does not have waltz Realdrums. Alternatively, under Opt, there's an option to run "What Add-ons Do I Have". Clicking on this will soon determine if you have Realdrums #24 and #2.

Use a DXi synth for all but the Thru channel by checking "Use DXi" in the MIDI Output window, also check the "Route MIDI Thru to MIDI driver" directly below it and make sure that the upper MIDI output window has the P-90 highlighted to be output.
