Greetings all,
I've looked all over and can't seem to find what I need. Basically I'm creating 12 bars of a blues backing track. Standard stuff in A. I want to use it as a loop but on the 12th bar I get instruments for 1/4 of the bar and a drum only part for the other 3/4s of the 12th bar. I want instruments for the entirety of the 12th bar as I want a seamless loop. I've checked all the settings I can think of and can't find out how to do this.
Could someone please point me in the right direction? It would be greatly appreciated. I've had BIAB for quite some time now but I'm really just getting into it now. I've got version 2012.

Unclick the loop and instead increase the number of choruses up to as many as 40. Later, Ray

You are hitting f5 and doing the thing there too right?
f5 at any bar.
There are trade 4 styles around I dont use them.

Thanks all for answering,
I don't have the loop checkbox checked. And I don't want to do more than one repetition of the 12 bars as the loop is going onto a loop pedal that is limited in memory. Long .wav files take up quite a bit of space and .mp3 is not an option for this pedal.
Perhaps I have to edit the style file?

Perhaps the songfile itself has become corrupted.
Try hitting "New" and lay out the song again.

That's a strange issue Fleet, I haven't heard of anything like that. It does sound like some setting has been made in the song to cause that. Try again, just type in a blues progression and press PLAY. See if it happens on a new song. If so, freeeze the song, and email it to us at support@pgmusic.com

Hi Peter,
Thanks for your offer of help. I've done as you've requested and created a new 12 bar loop from scratch. I am still having the problem and I am sending the song file via email.

Also, since biab supports 255 measures it seems to me you could just copy the 12 bar form to a 252 measure "chorus" and then choose 40 choruses. That would play for a LONG time.
Figure 30 seconds for a medium tempo 12 bar blues...X 21 12 bar sections (252 bars) = 10.5 minutes X 40 choruses = a 7 HOUR loop!
(If my math is correct which is always doubtful)

Be careful, in my testing, 255 bars of Realtracks plus many repeats can chew up resources rather quickly...

Because sometimes I take my loop pedal to other place to jam with people. Taking my computer would be a bit tough.
PG Music has determined there is an issue and is in the process of creating a fix.
