I don't know if there are any changes that can be made to a frozen file. That's because, if I do have Frozen, I routinely UNFreeze them before attempting to change anything. You should, too.
One thing I also do routinely is to SaveAs the Frozen songfile under another name first, typically adding "FR" to the Frozen version, FR1, to the next Frozen version, FR2, etc. to indicate which is which, then I *always* work on one of the copies, that way if anything goes wrong and a file should become corrupted or the likes, I don't have to start over on that song again from scratch.
