IF one of your previous packs included any "extras" in it and you no longer have those extras installed, then you would have to go back and reinstall the previous versions to get the extras back.
However, the 2011 version can also run with just it being installed and should have every feature that comes with it working.
"Extras" are things like the four separately purchasable Soloists, separate programs like the metronome or perhaps one of the Master Class programs, things like that.
