Sounds like a good one for the BiaB Wishlist Forum.
Looks like the Conductor only responds to MIDI notes or QWERTY and also only on the Thru Channel at this point in time. Being able to assign channels is a neat idea that would allow the sending of MIDI notes without sounding them on the synth.
Perhaps there is a workaround at the moment, see if you can assign things to MIDI Note Numbers *outside* the range of the keyboard. Don't know if it will reecognize the or not, but worth a try.
