Entering notation in pgmusic products is vastly different -- and actually much easier to do and faster == than other programs or how you may *think* it should work.

To change that whole note followed by dotted half to a tied situation, first delete the two notes, then just click once at the right line or space on the first vertical dotted line for the first beat. A whole note tied to the dotted half will appear automatically.

Because that is the first note entry with these programs. If you didn't want that full tied situation, just click again where you want the next note to be and the program will automatically change the duration of the first note to suit. Fast and neat.

As for the middle C, you can set the breakpoint in Notation view, Opts.
