Hi everyone,
I am (trying) to use a couple of synthesizer VST plugins. Each of these (I am now trying Prodigious by Synthscience) has a decent number of presets and I have chosen one that I like in the strings slot for a tune I am arranging. For some reason, not matter which preset I choose or how I save the BIAB song, the preset always reverts back to #106 in the list of presets!??. This also happens with another synthesizer VST plugin I am trying - always goes back to preset 106 in the list. What am I missing here?

Gotta give us all the details for a question like this. What OS, soundcard or interface, ram, 32 bit or 64, version of Biab, how it's set up, MME/ASIO?, all that stuff. Don't say "another synthsizer" exactly what synth and what version is it?

If using the new 2013 version, the patch update just released is supposed to cure a reverb problem that sounds like this one.

Sorry Bob,
Windows 7 64 bit, internal Dell sound card, BIAB 2012, set up MME. Synth is ProteusXV Verson 2.0.
I am also trying to use Prodigious synth version 1.2

Hi Todd, You might consider saving the setup as a .tgs file. Press Save Group on the synth button, and then save your setup e.g. "My Synth Setup.tgs". Then you can load group and load that setup in easily, or select it for any track, by right clicking on the instrument name and selecting choose synth preset. Note that it should be getting saved with the song anyway, and I'm not sure why that wouldn't be working, but maybe this explicit save will help. If not, we'd need details on the synth, and a sample file sent to support@pgmusic.com

This is why we need that info. Did a fast Google search "Proteus xv Win 7 64 bit". This came up: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=4346947XP compatibility mode, run as admistrator, a few other tweaks and it works. Google is your friend. Bob
