Sometimes when I've been doing a lot of editing, etc. in BiaB, there does indeed seem to be a situation where my computers run out of resources. The Reboot is the fix.
Not sure as to the "why" of it, exactly, have a feelng it has to do with clearing memory, but at least the Reboot cured your problem.
Good idea to keep that bootup fix in the back of your mind for the future.
