Mine is recognized as class compliant in XP -- and check the Manual, the .pdf is online at M-Audio, it says that after explaining how to install their drivers, matter of fact they use up almost a full page explaining that. I thought it kinda funny 'cuz I was likely the only guy who read the entire manual first.
There may be confusion because there is an older M-Audio single MIDI channel called the MIDISport IIRC that is NOT class compliant. They may have even made some UNOs at one time that weren't, dunno.
